Positive Quotes Colouring Book

There’s something surprisingly calming about picking up a colouring book and a handful of pencils. No matter your age, it’s like giving yourself a little pocket of peace in the middle of a busy day.

Colouring has this gentle way of slowing everything down. You’re not thinking about deadlines, to-do lists, or tomorrow’s worries, you’re just focusing on choosing colours and filling in shapes. It’s simple, soothing, and almost meditative without even trying.

The best part? There’s no “right” way to do it. You can go bold and bright, soft and pastel, or completely outside the lines... it’s all about what feels good in the moment. Unlike other hobbies that can feel like they need to be perfect, colouring is just pure play.

It’s also a screen free way to relax, whether you’re unwinding on your own with a cup of tea or sitting with friends and family for some quiet time together. A colouring book can turn into a cosy ritual, like lighting a candle or putting on your favourite blanket. In a world that moves so fast, colouring reminds us it’s okay to pause, breathe, and enjoy the little things.

I recently discovered the Positive Quotes Colouring Book by Ella Stevenson Designs, and I couldn’t be happier about it. As a kid, I would have absolutely adored this kind of book, but the truth is, I still do now.

Colouring is often seen as a childhood pastime, but it’s really so much more. For adults, it can be a calming, mindful activity that eases stress and sparks creativity. Pairing the beautiful designs with uplifting quotes makes the whole experience even more meaningful, it feels like a little boost for your mind as well as your imagination.

If you’re looking for a way to unwind after a long day, Boost your mood with positive affirmations, Share a fun, creative activity with your children or friends, Or simply take a screen free break …then this colouring book is a lovely choice.

It’s not just about filling in shapes with colour, it’s about giving yourself a quiet moment, lifting your spirits, and enjoying something simple yet fulfilling. Whether you’re 8 or 80, this book proves that colouring is truly for all ages.

  1. I'm 46 and still love coloring! I love that this coloring book has positive quotes in it. I remember my senior year high school psychology teacher had us bring coloring books & crayons to use at the beginning of each class.
