Superdrug Haul

How are you? 

There is nothing better than doing a bit of shopping at the weekend, actually any day can be a shopping day! Whether it's during your lunchtime or after work, there's always time for a bit of retail therapy.

I had a Social Media meeting on Saturday so I decided to pop into Superdrug afterwards as it was nearby. I could hear the Beauty Products from across the road shouting Sophieee buy me! Wouldn't it be great if you could transfer the whole of Superdrug into your home? *Dreams* #superdrugathome #willhappenoneday  #maybenot

So what did I buy?

Lips

I wear Lipstick now and again but I have always been more of a Lip Gloss kinda girl. I spotted Tanya Burr's exclusive collection by Eye Candy and just had to try out First Date. I am totally loving this Lip Gloss because not only does it give you a lovely light pink super glossy look that you can wear everyday, it also has a gorgeous sweet candy smell. The applicator brush feels really smooth which is great, there's nothing worse than a rough applicator!

I was on the hunt for a Lip Balm and came across Kissy Missy from the Tutti Fruity Range by Zoella, as always anything in pink packaging will always catch my eye! This Berry flavoured Lip Balm is definitely a new favourite of mine. What I like about Kissy Missy is that it is very pigmented so it adds a pretty light colour to your lips and leaves them feeling amazingly soft.

I then spotted two Lip Geek Lipsticks from I Heart Make Up. I find that certain Lipsticks tend to leave lips feeling dry but I wanted to try these out as I loved the colours. I went for Baby Doll and Ken Will Want Me. Baby Doll has a very light pink/peachy colour, if you wanted to wear a Lipstick under the First Date Lip Gloss then this colour would be ideal. Ken Will Want Me is slightly darker than Baby Doll which actually looks great under the Kissy Missy Lip Balm, although you can also wear them on their own. They have not got any kind of smell and they don't dry out your lips. May I add that the packaging is beyond adorable!

Skincare

I am sometimes fussy with Lotions, Moisturisers and Shower Gels. I have been using Dove products for a while now as they're great on the skin and smell amazing. However I wanted to try something different so I picked up the Zoella Foam Sweet Foam Cleansing Shower Gel which has a nice fruity smell. With extracts of Acai and Blueberry it claims to soothe your skin, I shall let you know the outcome once I have been using it for a while. Oh and I totally love the fact that it hasn't been tested on animals either.
Yay!

I also went for the Zoella Creamy Madly Dreamy Body Lotion, very girly packaging which I love and it looks great on my dressing table. The smell reminds me a little bit of The Just Pink Fragrance from Next. It leaves your skin feeling absolutely luscious and has all the ingredients you would want in a good Body Lotion such as Vitamin E, Aloe and Shea Butter so you should definitely try it out.

Eyes

I love Eyelashes, you can experiment and create so many different looks. I went for Tanya Burr's Girls Night Out Lashes as I haven't tried these before. They are going to look amazing with the First Date Lip Gloss.

Next up I went for Cheryl's Girls night. I have had these lashes before and fell in love as soon as I applied them! They are darker on the outer corners so they really emphasise the shape of your eye.

If you want more volume then you should go for the Double Volume Edition 40 by Lash exclusively for Superdrug. These Eyelashes are great for those who love a dramatic eye. Dark smokey eyes and a natural looking lip are one of my favourite looks.

For the days I don't wear Lashes I like to use the Awesome Lash and Power Definition Mascara By Make Up Revolution, I must say it is surely another favourite of mine as it really adds definition to your eyes without needing to add lashes. To keep your Mascara in tip top condition don't pump the wand in and out as this causes air to be pushed into the tube therefore drying the Mascara out.

I also bought some Eye Primer from I Heart Make Up, great if you're planning to wear Eyeshadow for a long time. lastly I wanted to try the Make Up Academy Pro-Base Fixing Mist. I haven't used this particular one before but it claims to last up to 8 hours and hydrates the skin. I Will let you know how I get on with it.

Which Beauty Products couldn't you live without?

Sculptresse by Panache The Chi-Chi Bra

Hiya Lovelies! 

I'm sure many of you have heard of  Panache Lingerie, I came across their Sculptresse range a few weeks ago and fell in love with their collection. They very kindly gifted me The Chi Chi underwired Bra to try out and what a gorgeous Bra it is, with it's cute pink mini leopard print design and gorgeous lace at the top of the cup, its a definite winner!

I love lingerie that makes me feel sexy and although there are a good amount of plus size lingerie retailers out there, it's still exciting to come across even more Brands that cater for the fuller figured woman.

For me not only does a Bra have to be pretty, it has to be super comfortable too. Being a plus size girl I always buy Bras that have a wide band and thicker straps, Bras with a thin band are a NO NO! Having lingerie that doesn't feel right and irritates is not a good thing. 

I have compared the Chi-Chi Bra to another Bra that I bought online a while ago which i don't wear because the band was simply not wide enough.

As you can see the Chi-Chi Bra has a significantly larger band. Look at the difference!

Unless I have shopped from a Brand before, I usually like to buy Bras in-store so I can see how wide the band is and have a feel of the material.

I was pleased when the Chi-Chi Bra arrived and fitted, I would say it is certainly true to size.

The Lush Bluewater store V.I.P Bloggers Opening party

Hiya Lovelies!

Halloween is in a few weeks, Are you doing anything spooky for it?

On the 3rd of October, Lush Bluewater held an opening party for bloggers to come and see the new design of the store and take a peek at their new Christmas range before they opened up to the public on the 4th.

I attended another one of their blogger events that they held in August before the re-design, if you missed that post, you can catch up here

It was such a lovely sunny afternoon, I got the train from London Bridge straight there, it wasn't as packed as I thought it was going to be considering it was a friday.

I was a little bit early!

 As I walked into the store it looked great, the champagne was fabulous!

The store always smells super yummy and the staff were friendly and helpful as always, they also told us stories behind some of their products which was nice to hear.

I got to make my own mini comforter bath bomb which smells gorgeous, all their bath bombs smell amazing. By the time I got home it was a bit squashed as it takes 24 hours to set. Oops!

They also had a range of make-up which i adored!  I tried the passionate lip stain, it had a gorgeous vibrant pink colour and it felt super soft.

Teeez Beautiful Eyes Flat Stiff Make-Up Brush

Hiya Beauty Lovers!

Today I will be talking to you about the amazing Beautiful Eyes Flat Stiff Make-Up Brush by Teeez 

I received this brush in my GlossyBox a couple of months ago and I must say it's one of the best brushes that I have ever used for applying Eye shadow!

The natural hairs on the brush feel super soft against the Eyelid and glides perfectly, you can blend and create shapes with ease without poking your eye out!

The design of the brush is gorgeous too, not a boring plain colour like most applicators!

This gorgeous Brown Eye shadow is from my Lock & Load Palette by Make-Up Revolution. The Flat Brush (left) picks up a lot more product than using an applicator (right) like one of these...

Pamela Mann Plus Size Tights

Hiya Lovelies!

We love pretty tights but sometimes it's hard to find ones that are comfortable and fit well, after all you will be wearing them all day or night and the last thing you want to be doing is pulling them up and tugging at them all day.

I'm 5ft 8 and a UK size 26.

Pamela Mann are a fantastic company that provides a selection of pretty Tights & Socks including Stockings & Hold Ups.

Their plus size range goes up to a size 32.

Pamela Mann Kindly sent me two gorgeous pair of tights in different sizes to try.

Firstly i tried the sexy Baroque Tulle Tights in a UK size 20-26

I love the pattern of these tights, they felt nice and soft. The tights fitted and went up to my waist, but when i walked around they would start to fall down, i would say they are more of a size 20-24, other than that they were fabulous tights

Secondly i tried the adorable Cat Ear Over The Knee Tights in a size 28-32.

These tights are so cute! Now they were a little big on me as they went right above my waist but this was a great thing because they didn't fall down and felt super comfortable.

I have acrylic nails so i had to be careful not to rip them! (Lol)

Always go for the larger size in tights even if they are not your usual size, opting for a larger size will make you feel more comfortable and they won't fall down.

Glossybox indulgent shopping evening event at Rituals
